The design is different than regular Rotary Burr's for metals.  The Xo Cut is much coarser than coarse cut. When using Xo Cut Carbide Burr for stainless steel, it has a high stock removal on sharp edges, and excess material quickly on your metal-working project. The Xo Cut is characterized by an extremely high stock removal rate on all austenitic as well as rust and acid-resistant steels. It creates significantly less vibration than a comparable cross cut or Aluma-Cut styles..
